D-mannose is a simple sugar (hexose) with a specific structure that does not affect blood sugar levels. Commonly found in many fruits and vegetables, including cranberries, apples, peaches, cabbages and broccoli, D-mannose is normally excreted within 90 minutes in the urine.
This short period of excretion requires instant release forms to be taken in shorter intervals – about 2 to 3 hours. Our innovative tablet with prolonged release of the ingredients allows gradual absorption of D-mannose, providing a better absorption rate and more efficient bioavailability of D-mannose in the urine, for 6 to 8 hours. Prolonged release tablets also provide more convenient intake (three times daily). UT RESCUE steady release tablets with 3000 mg D-mannose daily dose is equivalent to a 12000 mg immediate-release D-mannose.
Cranberry extract

Cranberry is a shrub native to North America, used for female health support for centuries. Raw cranberries, cranberry juice and cranberry extracts are a great source of polyphenols – including proanthocyanidins, flavanols and quercetin. The cranberry extract in UT Rescue is concentrated, and when included in the matrix of our sustained release tablet, steadily provides the right concentration between two intakes.
Birch Leaf Extract

Birch trees are widely used by herbalists in Europe for both their bark and leaves. The leaves of the tree contain a great variety of flavonoids, including quercetin and hyperoside as well as tannins, saponins, potassium and Vitamin C. Flavonoids are one of the most characteristic chemical compounds in birch leaves. They are present in plants both in a bound state with a sugar residue (glycosides), and in unbound forms (aglycones). Tannins are another type of polymeric phenolic compound that have the ability to naturally tan hides and precipitate gelatine. Found in almost every part of the plant, their molecular weight varies between 500 and 3000. An important fact about tannins is that they have the ability to form hydrophobic, hydrogen, and covalent bonds with proteins. Terpenes are part of the essential oils of plants and have an isoprene structure. Chemical and spectroscopic Dammaranetriterpenes have been identified in birch leaves.

The right product for me
After years of trying different products, I am happy to share that UT Rescue worked for me. A combination of well-known D mannose and cranberry and additionally, there is a birch leaf extract. But what I found different about UT Rescue is that with 2 tablets, you are covered or 6-8 hours. Those who suffer from UTIs know that when you start feeling the symptoms of UTI, you should start taking d mannose and cranberry immediately and drink plenty of water. However, d mannose is very quickly and easily excreted from the body with urine. I tested the product when I felt the first symptoms of UTI and following the directions on the back of the label, I took 4 tablets x 3 times/ per day for 5 days. I can say that I felt better after the third day but decided to take the whole pack and make sure the infection is gone. I think I will continue with 2 tablets/per day to maintain my UT in good condition and I feel safe.
