Summer brings sunshine, swimsuits, and weekend getaways - but for many women, it can also mean an increased risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs).

UTIs are one of the most common infections affecting women, and during summer, they tend to surge. Why? A few surprising reasons:

☀️ 1. Dehydration Happens Faster

When it’s hot out, your body loses more fluids through sweat. If you’re not drinking enough water, urine becomes more concentrated. Reduced frequency of urination may decrease the mechanical flushing of bacteria from the bladder, creating a more favorable environment for bacterial proliferation and thereby contributing to the progression of urinary tract infections.

🏊 2. Swimwear & Wet Clothing

Staying in wet swimsuits or tight synthetic clothing for too long creates a warm, moist environment—perfect for bacteria to multiply near the urethra.

✈️ 3. Travel Disrupts Routine

Long trips, unfamiliar bathrooms, and changes in hygiene habits can all contribute to UTIs. Holding in urine during travel also increases the risk.

What You Can Do to Stay Ahead of UTIs This Summer:

✅ Stay hydrated

✅ Change out of swimwear promptly

✅ Practice good hygiene

✅ Support your urinary tract with the right nutrients like Cranberry Extract, D-Mannose, known for their beneficial effect
